1. Yu-Chuan Tsai, Chairman of Department of Anesthesiology, NCKUH was attend the 14th World Pain Clinic Congress held at Beijing on October 29the-November 1st and be a Co-chair of LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE.

2. Prof. Alexandru Gottlieb, a well-known researcher include vascular anesthesia, anesthesia for bariatric surgery, as well as research and teaching clinical anesthesia, was invited to our department for a special teaching in in Sep. 29th, 2009.

3. Prof. Robert van Seventer , Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Director of the Department for Pain Management and Palliative Care Amphia Hospital, Netherlands and Secretary General of the Board of the World Society of Pain Clinicians, as well as research and teaching clinical anesthesia and pain management, was invited to our department for a special teaching and bedside teaching in March. 15th ~17th, 2010.
